Magicard HoloKote Issues: Calibration and Service
HoloKote drift, missing watermark, or uneven application is almost always a calibration or printhead issue.
Verify HoloKote is enabled in the driver
HoloKote application is driver-controlled. Confirm the correct HoloKote pattern is selected and the feature is enabled for the print job.
Printhead and overlay panel
HoloKote is applied via the overlay (O) panel of the ribbon. A failing printhead element shows as a missing watermark in a fixed location.
Calibration
Run the Magicard calibration routine. If drift persists, bench calibration restores HoloKote to spec.
