Zebra ZC350 Driver and Firmware: Setup and Updates
Most ZC350 issues at install time are driver and firmware mismatches. Here's the order to get a fresh install working cleanly.
Install the current OEM driver
Always start with the latest CardStudio-compatible Windows driver from Zebra's support site. Remove any older Zebra driver in Print Management before installing.
Update firmware before configuration
Firmware updates frequently change encoder behavior and ribbon support. Update firmware before configuring the printer in production.
Network configuration
For Ethernet deployments, set a DHCP reservation or static IP and verify the printer is reachable on TCP 9100. Avoid USB+Ethernet dual-connect — pick one transport.
